The world is getting more and more desperate and the recent fuel price hike is not making anything better. I think all this desperation is getting on my nerves. Today, (22.7.2008), my home is the victim of a break in. The CSI just left after getting 3 sets of fingerprints from the crime scene. And the amazing thing was, it was done in broad daylight!!
Surprisingly enough, my brother and I did not lose anything, but my parents lost RM5000 worth of jewelleries and watches. I know people need money, but don't lah go and rob my house!!
Pic from www.youthrights.org Having said that, let me suggest those who want to gain some extra cash to work part time....that's what I do! But many of you might ask how much income does it bring and is it worth it? Let us make my part time work routine as a case study and hopefully those who are thinking of robbing Ken or Gyms house, might just see the light and act accordingly... |

Previously on "Mind The Gap Please!"
Traveling in London is quite torturing to the wallet, but did you know that there are more places of interest that are free than the ones that you have to pay?
Well, at least from my experience.
This time around, we will look at the places that I went whichi did not require me to pay a single pound. So assuming that you have an Oyster Card, you won't have to worry about your wallet.
However, these are only some of the places, not all, yet there are a lot of them and it took quite a while to go to all of them. You might not have a million dollars but since you're young, you most probably have a lot of energy. So, I think getting around London would not be a problem. |

"Mind the gap please!", That might just be the top ten most famous phrases in London. It is said almost everytime the doors open and close on the London tube. Its funny at times and annoying at other times when the driver says it as if they have just been shot in the gut and has only his final breath left. The London Tube is only one of the many fascinating things in London waiting to be explored. But many are put off by Londons high living costs and its distance from Malaysia surely is another factor. Picture from www.visitlondon.com Yes, this is London!!! One of the most expensive places to stay in where a plate of Nasi Briyani cost the same as breakfast, lunch and dinner combined in Malaysia. But did you know there was so much you can get for free in London? And there IS a way around all the expensive this and that? Well, this is the Malaysians travel guide to London......!!! |

Overview
Back in university, MLM or Network Marketing was a popular trend among the students. Be it prepaid top-ups, food supplements or perfumes, the various MLM companies succeeded in attracting quite a big number students with its promise (so to say) of passive income that eventualy leads to financial freedom. I particualrly joined a few after being CONvinced by a friend or two but in the end I just stopped as I didn't really see it as a good choice of side income.
Maybe I'm not good at direct selling, maybe the MLM business plan is hopeless or maybe, just maybe MLMs are just scams. Whatever it is, after going through many types of MLM business plans I can come out with a conclusion. I believe that you CAN be a millionaire though MLM if you seriously really work on it. Seriously I do believe it.
But I also think this kind of weath comes at a cost.....friends or even potential lovers. Let's face it, How many of you run at the first hint of MLM and tag the MLM promoter as "radioactive material : keep your distance"? However some people have their own way of getting around that small problem and go on to be a millionaire. For those people, good for them. But for me unfortunately, I'm not that type and this post is based on my MLM experience. It is as to how MLM can make you rich but does it really contribute to the countries' economies? |
