It seems that there is one small detail that I came to know recently that makes the SARA 1Malaysia scheme unattainable. You need to be married or a single parent to qualify to apply for the scheme. so that makes it out of the reach for most young, recently graduated PTPTN loan holders.

So much for helping the people. This makes it only look like a half-hearted attempt to help the people in need. Oh well, we’ll just have see what other schemes the government are scheming in the future
