PTPTN loan start to gain profit NOT to help student to further studies. Therefore, NOW, they start back at even if u applied for ujrah they still wanted the riba 3% to balance to date then only calculating future 1% ujrah system. Final work, it's just for the profit but not helping students!

Yes is actually faster than a standard 5Mbps Unifi connection, it's one of the best mobile broadband packages you can get. Not sure about the coverage though.

However, once you're in the coverage area, Yes is really fast, and it's Infra can support as high as 9 Mbps, not bad for a mobile provider.

It's pricing is a tad bit high, but for mobile broadband, that's prepaid ...it's not that bad.

That being said, there are some limitations though, the service in my area experiences a downtime of about once a month, AND Yes doesn't warn you when your balance is about to finish. Severely lacking.

I've done a review of Yes, and compared it's speeds to Unifi here:

I think if you apply for "penangguhan bayaran", you wont be charged. But if you dont tell PTPTN that you want to study, then they will charge 1% late payment. But again you need to confirm with PTPTN, as I'm not 100% sure about the late charges related to "penangguhan bayaran"

hi iMyn! I think I prefer the 1% agreement. However, I want to further my studies to master level for 2 years so I have to apply for "Penangguhan Bayaran Balik PTPTN"..which mean that I will delay my payment for 24 months. but one of the conditions in the form states that "kos pentadbiran akan dikenakan di sepanjang tempoh penangguhan". does it mean that I will be charged an extra cost for delaying my payment for 24 months? as you mentioned, they will charge 1% for late payment. so how much do I have to pay for that extra cost? please help! thanks.

The good thing is you know about the charges. that is the important part of being a good consumer. Makes it easier to plan the ways of using the card.

For me I use the card only for paying bills and doing online transactions. I only top up when i need to use it and I top up only the amount I need and since there is no fee for top up with CIMB clicks, its great! About ATM withdrawal fee, RM6 is reasonable. Actually I think the only reason you want to do ATM withdrawal is in an emergency when you really need to withdraw from the card because you dont have money in your bank account for some reasons. I'm usually careful not to over top up the card because it costs money to withdraw from the card. even if I over topup, I will use the remaining money on the card to fill up petrol.

the thing is, every card has its flaws and strengths. you just have to know how to use them to your advantage. If the flaws are unacceptable to you, its better for you no to take the card.
