It's always an honour to have "famous" people visiting our blog. Excluding the government officials that are responsible for monitoring blogs on the net (yes, there are people committed to read blogs daily, and get paid monthly salary by the government).

We've had Kenny Sia, Kevin Zahri, Timothy Tiah, Oh Joo Nee and Joel Neoh before and that was due to their 'exquisite' videos from NYEC 2008.

Timothy of course is an exception, since he's the co-founder of nuffnang, from time to time when he's not too busy making money, he'll see our innit posts and nangs us.

But earlier today, we had a surprise visitor.

More like a tri-visit-er. They are none other than....

The Pagi Show
Phat Fabes, Ben and Nadia from Fly FM!!!

Proof of visit

Fly FM End Bit v2.0 and the hiatus

As we all know by now, the new End Bit is about two weeks old. The second one (after Jerry Maguire) is still up for grabs and tomorrow morning, it's RM900. I decided to take a break from our Tracker due to several reasons lar.

1.) General busy-ness

I had to attend to personal matters over the past week, which explains why there haven't been any new posts on CekikDarah.com. That and also my 30-days ban are now officially over.

Yeay!

2.) New game = new strategy

I'll try to be elaborate as possible.

Previously, all I had to do was guess the End Bit of a song that is played on a daily basis on Fly FM.

So, the strategy was simple. There's 60 minutes in an hour. A normal song's span about 4 minutes. Therefore,

Maximum songs in an hour = 60/4 = 15 songs

Maximum songs in a day = 15 x 24 = 360 songs

But wait, since there are the deejays, traffic reports, news updates and advertisements, so, we shall exclude maybe 20 minutes for their combined airtimes in an hour.

The equation now becomes,

Maximum songs in an hour = (60-20)/4 = 10 songs

Maximum songs in a day = 10 x 24 = 240 songs

And within that rotation, let's assume that two newest or top-pest songs will be played in every hour. That means,

Probable songs = 240 - (23 x 2) = 194 songs

Therefore, the odds are 1/194 probably and with the eliminations of wrong guesses and non-repeating songs, we increase the odds of getting the right song.

Or maybe by sheer luck, Fabes would leak out a hint for the song, and that also increases the probability.

But now, it's an entirely new game. The last word of a famous lines of a famous movie!

Getting a Feel

I'm trying to close down the parameters so to increase the probabilities of getting the right answer.

Even on IMDB.com, there's 250 Top Movies of all time. And the definition of famous is quite vague. There are famous movies that most Malaysians have never heard of.

Okay, maybe never even watched.

Case in point?
Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai
Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai.

Kickass movie, famous pulak. Trust me, I've watched this one.

So throw us a bone lar. At least give the decade the movie's from. Or decades. Don't have to be so specific (80's). You can say, it's post 70's. That leaves 80's, 90's and noughties.

Guess Guess Guess.

I have actually been tracking down the wrong answers, although very loosely. The Sixth Sense is definitely out. It was one of the early wrong guesses.

I remembered because I thought it was the right answer as well.

So, if I had to guess (and I shall not be held liable if these are the wrong ones), I would say the current End Bit is Dakota Fanning's voice. Most probably from either horror flick:

Hide and Seek

or

War of the Worlds

So there, I would guess that it's a horror movie, with a young female cast. From what era, I don't know, yet!

Stay tuned, we might bring back the Tracker sooner than you'd think. Meanwhile, check out our celeb plug for the day, the lovely but fourteen years old, Miss Dakota Fanning!
