Reality television have worked wonders for several personalities in Malaysia with their respective careers.

We cannot deny how reality tv increases the visibility of the successful contestants in either launching or boosting their careers.

In line with the upcoming fourth season of Nescafe Kickstart, cekik darah dot com is proud to support one of the candidates for the fourth season, Abdul Hadi Zamri. His bid video for an Entertaining TV Autoshow can be viewed below.

Not to be machosists so to speak, but with the national auto industry in hot pursuit of better sales of Malaysian made cars, coupled with the never-decreasing fuel price, we believe that an ala-Top Gear tv show, which helps the laymen, the average Joes and Janes like myself with testing the new cars in an unbiased point of view.

Let's face it, most of the tv shows in Malaysia put the featured products in a better light than perhaps what theydeserved. Malaysia cars not excluded when it comes to this.

Jalan - jalan Cari Makan will always air the tasty food stops, even if the food doesn't taste all that good. Have you ever watched a cooking show/food review show that review a restaurant in Malaysia and say it out loud, "The food is not worth paying for!"

Well we say that the need for an honest and entertaining review of cars, in Malaysian context is here.

When we say Proton Persona has high fuel efficiency, what does that mean?

If we pit the Persona against the Mini Cooper, in a road experiment (KL-Ipoh-KL), with normal conditions (air conditioning on, radio, and the real Malaysian road speed, which is at least 110km/h), , which model would reign supreme?

Besides, why read about it if you can show it?

Or if we wanna see something silly, as what the Top Gear guys did in this particular video:

I'm sure Hadi has all that figured out.

We hope that our fellow Malaysians would go to Nescafe Kickstart website , register themselves and vote for "Abdul Hadi Zamri - Entertaining TV Autoshow".

If you need convincing that the population are crazy about cars and many other roads-related topics in Malaysia, head over to Paultan.org

We believe that Hadi's idea is beneficial to several parties:

1) National car manufacturers - Although technically puttting a bullseye on their brand, an honest and close scrutiny is required to take our local manufacturers beyond the status quo. Otherwise, we might as well forget about being a serious global player, and continue being laughed at overseas.

2) Consumers - With the right approach and content (which is free from bias-ness), the program would be able to reach a wide spectrum of audience and hence empowering the consumers about the truth regarding their automobiles and fuel consumption.

Of course, hindsight is always 20/20. We wish him all the best in his effort to make his dream a reality.
