Outings

I have been wondering for some time now about what makes the Jom Heboh Carnival so popular, thus enabling it to carry on year after year.

Last Sunday, Gymz and me decided to check out the Jom Heboh Carnival held in Bukit Jalil.

The A1 GP has not been given much attention in the past partially due to the not so astonishing performance of Malaysia's A1 Driver Alex Yoong.

But this season has saw a turn of events which elevated Malaysia as the championship point leaders after 2 races thus far.

Capitalizing from this good PR position, Jobstreet.com, one of our A1 GP Teams' sponsors decided to distribute free grandstand seat tickets to the A1 GP last week to its many registered users.

As I happened to be one of them, I decided why not go, and bring my family and friends along, since they give us a maximum of 6 pax to be allow to enter on a single ticket.

After the first few days of the screening for Quantum of Solace, I heard a lot of complaints about the movie, among them are, "Tak best langsung" , "I don't even know what to say about the movie" and "everyone was blank coming out of the cinema". But despite all the negative comments about the new James Bond movie, my brother and I decided to ignore what has been said and catch the early bird screening on Sunday morning at KLCC TGV. Early bird tickets cost RM8 there and it's also thrown in with a special half an hour screening of your favorite advertisements before the movie. Oh ya, its interesting to note that Quantum of Solace is translated "Ketenangan di tengah Kecelaruan" according to the subtitles, if I'm not mistaken.

Disclaimer: I'm not good with names so I might refer the cast of this movie according to his/her character in the movie.

Other than being multiracial, Malaysians are also known for our own brand of lifestyle.

Especially the night life.

In most countries, shopping malls are closed at 6.00pm everyday, and people go to bed early on weeknights, prepping for work the morning after.

On the other hand, at 1800 hours, most Malaysians, especially those living in Kuala Lumpur, are getting ready for the night.

Kuala Lumpur should go by the name "Batman City" since the "city that never sleeps" is simply waay too cliche. Therefore, let us observe two "U" rated places that are absolutey my favourites post-6.00pm.
