You are probably wondering why I have been MIA lately.... Gymz And I are currently at the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum 2008 as part of the Organizing team. We will be reporting back about the event soon.
After the first few
days of the screening for Quantum of Solace, I heard a lot of
complaints about the movie, among them are, "Tak best langsung" , "I don't even
know what to say about the movie" and "everyone was blank coming out of the cinema".
But despite all the negative comments about the new James Bond movie, my
brother and I decided to ignore what has been said and catch the early bird
screening on Sunday morning at KLCC TGV. Early bird tickets cost RM8 there and
it's also thrown in with a special half an hour screening of your favorite
advertisements before the movie. Oh ya, its interesting to note that Quantum of Solace is translated "Ketenangan di tengah Kecelaruan" according to the subtitles, if I'm not mistaken.
Disclaimer: I'm not
good with names so I might refer the cast of this movie according to his/her
character in the movie.
There are five computers in my house. With the coming semester break, there will be seven.
Seven computers simultaneously online, scrambling for bandwidth is going to be one giant headache, especially for yours truly since I am the de facto Tech Supervisor of the household.
Foreseeing the upcoming complications, I decided to push for a package upgrade.
If you are a ScreamyxStreamyx customer like us, application to upgrade your broadband package can be done automatically. I found out the hard way, after spending five minutes waiting on the phone, and another ten getting explanation from the TM Customer Service Representative.
Long story short, I called 100 and fifteen minutes later, I am now equipped with some information that might be useful for those who are considering the same thing.
