It is well understood that coal/oil/gas power stations in themselves are not clean nor green, with greenhouse gas emissions being the natural final products of coal/oil/gas combustion with 33 to 60% efficiency whether or not the EVs are being charged from the electricity they produced.

Comparatively, energy production from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles using petrol and diesel are about 10 to 15% efficiency and the result exhaust comprises wasted fuels and other pollutants from the incomplete combustion of the ICE engines.

If there was an option to choose from EVs with about 99% energy efficiency to propel automobiles against ICEs, of course it is understood that EVs would be most efficient provided always that the sources of energy must be from renewable sources. Read More
